Sync your reminders with Outlook (32 Bit Only)
This feature works only with older 32-bit desktop versions of Microsoft Outlook, such as Outlook 2007 or 2010.
Because Quicken is a 32-bit program, it is not compatible with 64-bit versions of Outlook, including Outlook 365 or Outlook from Microsoft 365 installations.
You can transfer the next 90 days of Quicken reminders to your Microsoft Outlook calendar. This lets you view upcoming bills and income without opening Quicken—for example, on a mobile device that syncs with your Outlook calendar.
Transfer your reminders to Outlook
If needed, create the bill or income reminders you want to sync.
In each reminder you want to include, select Sync to Outlook in the Optional Settings section.
If you didn’t select this option when creating the reminder, edit the reminder and select it now.
Choose Tools > One Step Update.
In the One Step Update list, select Sync reminders to Outlook.
Select Update Now.
Quicken displays a confirmation message when the transfer is complete.
Use the Sync to Outlook button
You can also sync reminders using the Sync to Outlook button on the Bills > Bill Reminders tab.
The Sync to Outlook button appears only if Microsoft Outlook is installed and you’ve selected Sync to Outlook for at least one reminder.
View and manage reminders in Outlook
Quicken reminders appear as all-day events at the top of the calendar in the Outlook desktop app.
To view all reminders in a single list, switch Outlook to Category view. Quicken reminders appear under the Quicken Bill Reminder category.
If you delete or change a reminder in Quicken, it will be updated in Outlook the next time you run One Step Update.
If you delete or change a reminder in Outlook, that reminder will be overwritten the next time you sync.
Always make changes in Quicken to avoid losing updates.
