Is this a transfer or credit card payment?
Quicken has detected two related transactions that appear to be a transfer or credit card payment between your accounts. Before adding them to your registers, Quicken asks you to confirm whether they are connected.
What this means
This message appears when Quicken sees a withdrawal from one account and a deposit into another for the same amount and around the same date. This often happens with:
A payment from a checking account to a credit card
A transfer from savings to checking
A deposit made to an account that originated from another one you track in Quicken
What to do
Click Yes if the transactions are part of the same transfer. Quicken will link them and record a single transfer entry across both accounts.
Example: A $500 payment from your checking account to your Visa card will appear as one linked transfer rather than two separate transactions.
Click No if the transactions are unrelated. Quicken will enter them as individual, unlinked transactions in each account.
