What if I can't find my saved reports and graphs?
If your saved reports or graphs are missing in Quicken Classic for Windows, there are a few common reasons this can happen.
Why reports might not appear
Saved reports are stored within your current Quicken data file. If they don’t show up, it usually means one of the following:
You opened a different data file than the one used to create the reports.
The reports were created by another Quicken user ID or Windows user profile.
The data file was moved or restored, and the reports weren’t saved with the current copy.
The data file was damaged, and saved report definitions were lost.
How to find your reports
Try the following steps to locate or recover your missing saved reports:
1. Confirm you’re using the correct data file
Go to File > Open Quicken File and review the list of recent files.
Open the file you believe contains your saved reports.
Run Reports > My Saved Reports to see if they appear.
Tip: Your file name appears in the Quicken title bar.
2. Check for user profile differences
Make sure you're signed in to Windows under the same user account that created the reports.
If you're using Quicken with multiple Quicken IDs, reports created under one ID won’t appear under another.
3. Restore a backup
If you suspect the reports were lost due to a damaged or overwritten file:
Go to File > Restore from Backup File.
Choose a backup created before the reports went missing.
After restoring, check the Reports > My Saved Reports menu again.
