Invoice lines aren’t printing

If some lines on your printed invoice are missing—especially the last line or totals section—it may be due to your printer’s bottom margin setting. This is common with page-oriented printers such as inkjet or laser printers.

When to use this

Use this fix if:

  • The last item or total on your invoice doesn’t appear on the printed page.

  • Only part of the invoice prints and the rest is cut off.

  • You’re using an inkjet or laser printer (not a continuous-feed printer).

Adjust printer margins for invoices

To increase the bottom margin:

  1. Go to the File menu.

  2. Select Printer Setup > For Printing Invoices.

  3. If the Bottom margin is set to 0.5, increase it to 0.75 inches.

  4. Select OK to save your settings.

Try printing the invoice again.

Note
This adjustment increases the space at the bottom of the page to ensure all content fits within the printable area supported by your printer.
