Year-end tax preparation is easier when your financial records are accurate and complete. Quicken helps you:

  • Summarize income and expenses for the year using reports and totals

  • Track deductible expenses year-round instead of sorting everything at tax time

Tip: Reports are only as accurate as your categories. If transactions are Uncategorized or miscategorized, your year-end totals may be off.

  • Splits let you divide one transaction across multiple categories (helpful for mixed business and personal purchases)

  • Reports summarize your income and expenses using tax-related categories and line items

Tip: Categories are the foundation. If transactions are Uncategorized or miscategorized, your reports and tax summaries won’t be accurate.
