Set Quicken accessibility options

Quicken Classic for Windows includes basic display options that can help improve readability and make working in your registers more comfortable. These settings are useful if you prefer larger fonts or need more or less spacing between rows of transactions.

Increase the font size

You can increase the size of text throughout Quicken to improve legibility, especially on high-resolution monitors.

To enable large fonts:

1. Go to the View menu.

2. Select Use Large Fonts.

This change takes effect immediately and applies across all windows and menus in Quicken.

Adjust row height in account registers

If you prefer more or less vertical space between transactions in your account registers, you can change the row height setting.

To adjust register row height:

1. Choose Edit > Preferences.

2. Select Register from the list on the left.

3. Under Row Height, choose one of the following:

   • Comfortable (adds the most space)

   • Standard (default spacing)

   • Compact (tightest spacing)

The row height change applies to all account registers.
